Omelets for supper

We set off for our local grocery store this morning to purchase milk, Drano (for our slow-draining shower), some meat for dinner and a few other sundries. We were confounded for a moment when we arrived and discovered that the doors were locked and the place closed. Then I recalled seeing a sign last week that indicated the store would be closed Monday and Tuesday and until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday. We shrugged and set off for another nearby store which we had never patronized. It is MUCH smaller and the meats there were rather suspect by our standards. So we bought some eggs (our first since arriving in Paris!) and decided we would have omelets and biscuits for dinner.
