Sunday April 3, 2011 Day 277
We slept late, and Roger went out for plain and chocolate croissants for breakfast. Afterward we took our guests on a walking tour of Montpellier historic city center. Since it was Sunday, much of it was closed. We took them to see one of my two favorite trompes l’oeils - the one at St. Roch, with the reflection of the church in the painted-on windows at the top.

We returned to the apartment and Jane fixed a salad while I made some egg drop soup and we had a feast of soup and salad and bread with tapenade for lunch. In the afternoon we went out again for a bit, then returned to the apartment to play games.
We had an excellent dinner not far from the apartment. And being the Wedels that we are, we spent the rest of the evening playing cards.
