I painted an abstract today. The enthusiasm on Facebook was underwhelming. I didn’t enjoy this as much as the quick sketches I do from photos or real life, but I did want to give it a try. Hmmm. I guess I should stick to the impressionistic stuff. I think it pleases both me and my audience more.
