We sent Mary Ellen, Jane and Aaron off to Arles this morning and I stayed home. I need the day off. We washed towels and went grocery shopping, then Roger went off to chess as usual. I got out my paints and worked on a complex and detailed painting of a local boutique around the corner from our apartment. It is taking much longer than I expected it would.
