Louvre Tickets

After lunch we launched ourselves toward Galleries Lafayette the lesser – the one below the Tour Montparnasse rather than the huge one near the Opera. Roger had read that they sell Louvre tickets in their customer service department. Turns out it was only the greater GL that sold them, and they have ceased to do so. But the young man in Customer Service kindly directed us to FNAC. Bingo! We already did FNAC once, on an unsuccessful jaunt to get a phone case (we still don’t have one), so I knew exactly where it was, and it wasn’t too far away – just a 10-mminute walk. This time we scored – on the lower floor of FNAC they apparently sell all sorts of tickets, not just to the Louvre, but to concerts, theatres, festivals, movies, opera, parks and anything else for which you might need a ticket – Ticketmaster in the basement! There was only a 1.20€ per ticket upcharge, which beats Ticketmaster all to pieces!!
