As we crossed the bridge from the Île de la Cité to the Left Bank where we live, we noticed lots and lots of locks secured to the wire fence above the Seine. Most of them had some sort of message on them, many just a name and country. Roger researched them and says they are love locks, and many of them did have two names on them. How romantic!
